Help youZingit Attract College Students - $1,000 USD Total Compensation

This request is to help youZingit promote our website to college students. Come up with original ideas to help us create engagement and awareness among college and university students.

Exactly What Youzingit Needs to Engage College Students.

Writing a business-plan-like concept/idea is just as boring as writing any prose, right? In fact compesation money is the only motivation for users so far. I will show you how gaming psychology can boost college students participation on youzingit.

Full Description

Gamification is a novel idea.I knows this may not exactly be new, but this is how Youzingit in particular, can make the site more engaging, more interactive. Gamificaation is the use of game elements and game design techniques in non gaming contexts. Most people are so hooked to games not only because of the thrill winning but the excitement of moving on to harder, more challenging levels. So why not deploy this same gaming psychology to help boost user participation on Youzingit? Especially college kids like me.

First, a public profile of each individual user showing the following:

1. IQ of individual

>>every now and then, all users must participate in IQ tests hosted and designed by youzingit showing either the total IQ of user or just  the talents of user as per the test. Say for example, user X’s profile shows "very artistic" or "very imaginative” or "business minded/highly entrepreneurial".

We may also add personality tests to show the good side of a person. “Charismatic”, “manipulative” and so on.

This will help shape a company’s choice of ideas. Companies the likes of apple, may  more likely go for an idea from "very artistic" user when they are keen on the design of a new product release. Again this IQ tests should be customized to fit the structure around which Youzingit is built.
A company sales department may prefer a sales idea coming from a user with the “manipulative”  and “imaginative” on their profile.

It’s just human to judge idea from the abilities of a person

 2. Awards won by the user on youzingit/

 >>Prices like 'kindle fire', the winner of such-and-such idea contest.

This will show the prospective buyer how productive the user has been in  generating awesome ideas, Ideas that big companies have bought or viewed

 3. The most viewed or featured ideas of the user.

>>

 4. Avatar /badge

>>The avatars on the user profile should show the progress, rank or level of user in the Youzingit community. We should have avatars representing the great minds in history. So the constant idea-winner will have the avatar 'einteinizingit' , 'newtonizingit' , 'galileozingit' , 'picasozindit' , 'averoszingit' and so on.

5. Which companies have viewed/bought the user's ideas?

>>If idea buyers see that a certain user has repeatedly caught the eyes of admired companies, That user’s idea will be the most sort after-a hot cake any time a brand browses youzingit.com hunting for ideas.

##Important##

These game structures around the posting of ideas, rewarding and constant competition WILL, FOR SURE, provide the best form of encouragement to user. This is why angry birds and similar games have such a pull on us.

Secondly, hosting of 'fast idea generation’ competitions. Not like the RFI but a bit light weight. Users are alerted that the competition is on and the best idea is voted either by users, youzingit or the brand. Also it can be in the form of a live-session between users and the brand/company/board where the participants respond to the 'fast idea generation contests ' in a very limited amount of time and the company/brand choose the best. This can be done through a web application interface where, for example, a company meeting is taking place and the members are brainstorming on ideas and they don’t want to waste time. So they log into the youzingit interface and engage with the users for the duration of the live session. It doesn’t have to be an elaborated idea but one where it just sparks a thought in the meeting and they decide to go with that-and that’s it. The company will close the live session when they fill they have what they needed. The choice of the company will win.
The company pays, say per hour of the live session. This money is divided among the participants, but the company will bear the responsibility of paying the user that won the idea

Thirdly, offer some kind of protection or helping in protection of idea for atleast your most successful users. Bet I will be rich! Imagine the prospects of being a constant inflow of college pocket money!

Fourthly, design mind improving games that will earn the user points in their profile. This games can also be designed to may be solve a different problem like the DNA/Virus structure!!
