The Old College Try Trivia Challenge

Finding a broad number of students who will offer quality ideas requires a destination that is fun and attractive, yet also aimed toward the students who enjoy knowledge in a game...like trivia

Full Description

In contemplating the best way to gain more attention from college students, I was trying to think of targeting a demographic that is broad, yet also likely to want to participate in offering quality ideas and furthering knowledge. One of my FAVORITE things to do in college was go to the bar for the weekly trivia contest. I have noticed this is also a trend that I have noticed in most “college towns”. If YouZingIt would be willing to put forth the money to sponsor some of the weekly trivia contests or to create trivia events in some of the major college towns (It is huge in Fort Collins, CO, for example), at the end of the night those who didn’t win (and who did) should be asked a final trivia question and asked to submit the answer of on the Facebook page or website for cash or prizes (or perhaps a free membership for a person with the best idea?). You could also send representatives out to large colleges to promote weekly events. Also, during these events you could offer a limited time promotion in which students who attended the  trivia event are offered a code that will give them $10 back for becoming premium membership. I thought this would be a good group of students to target b/c in my experience people from every college major and walk of life, but typically those who have a drive for knowledge, intelligence, etc.
